Day 1
Arrive at Lima

Lima has many interesting, awe-inspiring things to offer to the travelers. Apart from distinct constructions of the Incas, it has a mix of cultures, and modern and backward areas. Reaching Lima means opening doors to taste a variety of foods of various cultures, and it is not just simply called as the Gastronomical Capital of the Americas. Spend this day getting a hotel room (assistance provided by travel guide), and on leisurely activities.

Day 2

Day two is packed with lot many activities such as visiting Lima’s historical centers such as the City Hall, the Archbishop’s Palace, the Government Palace, Plaza Mayor, and mansions of colonial times and distinct Moorish type of carved wooden balconies. Visit Limas traditional residential areas in places like Larco Mar, Miraflores, and San Isidro. You can also get a beautiful view of the Pacific Ocean from these locations.

The Gold Museum of Peru has a wide collection of pre-Hispanic gold, copper, and silver ornaments like bracelets, rings, forehead ornaments, masks, necklaces, nose rings, etc.

Day 3
Lima - Cusco

Catch a flight to Cusco and get a hotel room on reaching the magnificent city. Inca architecture is distinct, for e.g., their forts are constructed using carefully cut rocks near fracture lines to lock them in place. You can find a blend of Inca and Spanish architecture here. You’ll also visit Sacsayhuaman Fortress and Q'enqo, which are spectacular places to experience Inca architecture and culture. Get a fantastic view of the countryside from Puca-Pucara, and visit their spa and military outpost Tambomachay. Stay for a night in Cusco.

Day 4

Catch Hiram Bingham train and head towards Machu Picchu. Pass through zigzag roads of the Cusco valley and reach Sacred Valley of Urubamba River. Move ahead of Ollantaytambo town and reach Machupicchu or Aguas Calientes. Visit Intiwatan (solar clock), Circular Torreon (circular tower) around the Temple of the Sun, Bath of the Princess, and Temple of the Three Windows – shelter for Inca from Spanish invaders, before concluding your trip. Spend the night at a Cusco hotel.

Day 5
Depart Cusco

On the last day, post breakfast, our tour guide will drop you till the airport or bus station as per your return journey requirement.
