Today you will be visiting historical monuments of Cairo like The Great Pyramids of Giza, which is also famous as one of the Seven Wonders of the World. The Egyptian Museum is said to house 1,20,000 Pharaonic antiquities. Khan El Khalil Bazar is an interesting visit, as it is one of the oldest constructions which saw a change in rulers. Currently it is one of the tourist attractions, drawing people from Egypt as well as the world.
Travel to Cairo Domestic Airport to catch a flight to Aswan. You’ll be taken to Aswan Cruise Terminal for the Nile Cruise. Aswan High Dam constructed in 1960-70 plays a key role in preventing floods, and protecting farmlands. Take a felucca ride (a traditional boat on Nile) to Philae Temple, which is one of the beautiful constructions with its walls featuring hieroglyphs. Sight of unfinished obelisk should be enough to take you back to the old times.
On day four, visit Kom Ombo, The Temple of two Gods – Horus, the Falcon God, and Sobek, the Crocodile God. Edfu Temple is located in an Egyptian city called Edfu dedicated to Horus. Spend the night on the cruise boat.
On the east bank of Luxor, you’ll visit Karnak and Luxor Temples, which were the places of worship in the 18th century. Those who are studying the ancient history find this a very interesting location in Egypt. This night is also spent on the boat.
On this day, you’ll take a coach to Hurghada, also known as Ghardaga. Hurghada was once a small fishing village on the Red Sea coast. It has now flourished into a great holiday destination for experiencing underwater life, diving, and snorkeling, and nightlife. Spend the night at a hotel in Hurghada.
Giftun Island is your last place to visit in the Egypt tour package. It has rich marine flora and fauna visible through clear water with a turquoise impression. You can spend time playing on the sand or swimming with dolphins. You can also enjoy the nightlife at Hurghada.
