On your arrival at Bangalore, you’ll journey towards Dandeli, located at a distance of 462 km, in Uttara Kannada. Your first destination will be Kulgi Nature Camp, where you can spend time listening to cheeky bird songs and spotting wild animals amidst lush greenery. First night is spent in the camp tents.
On the second day you’ll travel from Dandeli to Dudhsagar Falls, traversing through Castle Rock, a former Portuguese colony in India. However, the path from Castle Rock to Dudhsagar is covered by trekking a 16 km distance, relishing the beauty of lush green humid tropical forests and rivulets. Having food amidst forest is yet another twist to your routine life. After spending time at milky Dudhsagar Falls, you’ll return to Castle Rock by train, and reach your base Kulgi Nature Camp by road.
Spend the whole day sightseeing at Dandeli, taking nature walks and spotting hornbills. The third day is your last day of vacation at Dandeli to spend time in the nature park watching exotic birds such as yellownape, common kestrel, night jars, hornbills, and so on.
After breakfast, the travelers will be taken to the railway/bus station, from where they will take a return journey.
