You’ll fly from Rio de Janeiro to Manaus by flight and reach your lodge accommodation by boat. In the Monkey Forest, the monkeys and wild animals saved from black market have been kept in quarantine for care by veterinaries. Your next destination is Amazonian Native’s home.
Check out from the hotel and take a motorized canoe, accompanied by a bilingual guide who can guide you about the customs of the natives. You may do fishing on the Amazon waters. After dinner you will go on a night tour on the canoe and spot alligators; your guide may catch small one for you to see and then let them safely into the water. Spend the night at Amazon EcoPark Lodge.
This day you’ll explore the biodiversity of Amazon Rainforest which has many uncatalogued species. Discover the virgin forest and taste its distinct fruits, find potable water, first aid, and ways to get inside and out of the forest. Our guide will also help you try hands with piranha fishing (nonprofessional way). Spend the night at the hotel.
Today you’ll travel to the place where two rivers - sand-colored Rio Solimões (upper Amazon River) and Negro River meet. Negro River got its name due to its dark color developed due to the humic acid released by the phenol containing flora. Even after this they flow for 12 km without merging! The rest of the day is spent at the hotel.
Have your last breakfast in the Amazon Rainforest, and reach Manaus Airport to catch the return flight.
